Sarah Romanko

Sarah Romanko has been involved with the startup and VC ecosystem since 2019, and since then, she's worked with 10 VC funds (Able Partners, Dash VC, Hawke Ventures, IgniteXL Ventures, Laconia Capital Group, Moonshots Capital, Pegasus Angel Accelerator, RevTech Ventures, Sputnik ATX VC, and The University of Texas at Dallas Seed Fund) and 9 startups (Boss Me In, BUDDY, Bulletpitch, Dextego, Optimatik, Pineappple Labs, twenty, Venturous, WingDriver). She's also spoken at 20+ events on pitching, funding and investing, selecting a viable startup to invest in, and obtaining experience in VC.

Throughout her VC journey, she's crafted her personal brand on LinkedIn and grew it to 7.7k+ followers by posting at least once a week on 4 topics: 1) her community involvement, 2) startups to watch, 3) how GenZ can break into VC, and 4) how startups can secure funding. She also provides female and diverse founders with pitch deck advice, fundraising advice, and ideas on how to improve their business at no charge, as well as advises students on how to break into venture capital.

Sarah is currently a Venture Intern at Sputnik ATX VC and is involved with the Texas Venture Gala and Forum as the Chief of Staff and a member of the Investor Committee. She was also a SXSW 2024 Conference PanelPicker Evaluator and was on the 2021 NTX Inno Under 25 List.
